The Role:

Provide support to the HR Manager on ER related matters and to the managers across functions including areas of Resourcing, Disciplinary Investigations and Absence Management.

Supporting business strategy, development and continuous improvement, whilst maintaining employee engagement and welfare.

Requirements:

Minimum of two years’ experience working in an operational HR capacity

Confident and demonstrable understanding of employment law

Articulate communicator, both written and verbal to persons at all levels

Flexible and adaptable in approach to ever changing workload and deadlines

Examples of adding value as both an individual contributor and active team member

Experience of dealing with challenging individuals

Confidential and approachable to employees at all levels

Ability to recognise, implement and review development plans for individuals – with support,

succession planning.

Ability to represent the Human Resource function internally & externally

Warehouse Operatives

Monday - Friday 7.30am - 6pm

The key responsibilities in this role include:

Taking delivery of goods and supplies
Storing of goods
Preparation of stock
Loading of stock by hand, pump truck or forklift
Keeping Warehouse and work area clean and tidy through use of chemicals and non hazardous equipment
Use of the correct methods for manual handling
Correct completion of the picking and unloading paperwork and IT based systems
Ensuring cleanliness of Stock and Warehouse (this includes cleaning spillages and damages as they happen or on discovery)

Must Haves:
Excellent interpersonal skills
Counterbalance experience is essential
Ability to work under pressure to support and deliver were needed
Relevant experience of MHE used by the operation would be desirable
Encouraging teamwork within the workplace by displaying the correct behaviours and attitude
Be able to work on your own or as part of a team and be able to make important decisions using you own initiative

LGV Mechanic
Workshop Engineer

Responsible for the effective maintenance of the Knowles Transport fleet. Day to Day re-active and proactive maintenance of the Fleet taking direction from the Fleet manager.

Must Haves
– Minimum of 2 year experience or qualification in motor mechanics such as City & Guilds Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or a BTEC National Certificate in Vehicle Repair and Technology
– Having excellent knowledge about motor technology and a strong interest in motor vehicles
– Having good communication skills
– Having good concentration when under pressure
– Having good manual dexterity
– Being methodical and organised and able to work to strict deadlines
– Be able to work alone and follow instructions
– Must have own transport and full UK driving licence

Fleet Maintenance

Repair and maintain fleet vehicles.

Performing the following tasks:

• Inspect vehicles to MOT standard
• Diagnose and rectify all types of faults
• Maintain current product knowledge and attend training courses as required
• Ensure all vehicles worked upon are handled carefully and that all precautions are taken whilst on the premises
• Complete all paperwork as necessary
• Ensure all aspects of H&S working practices are adhered to
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness

Inventory Manager

Monday to Friday | 40hrs a week between 6am -6pm
Covering multi sites

Inventory Manager

Monday to Friday | 40hrs a week between 6am -6pm
Covering multi sites

Accountable KPI’s

Correct SKU and Pallet Data (including Quantity/Batch BBE) within WMS – >99%

Management of direct reports on all aspects – 100%

Key Accountabilities

Stock / Inventory Control

  • Responsible for checking of all stocks and regular stock takes in conjunction with the on shift warehouse supervisors and in line with the QMS
  • Support Warehouse Managers through checking of stock and enquiries of orders from the internal customer service team and external customer requests
  • Observe correct stock receiving and dispatch protocols
  • Responsible for stock take procedures to ensure stock is as accurate as possible
  • Assist with the administration of products on the WMS
  • Ensuring accuracy throughout the WMS
  • Assist with other administrative duties as required by the Warehouse Managers
  • Assist with warehouse picking and packing as required by the Warehouse Managers
  • Checking products on the warehouse management system to ensure stocks are correct
  • Support the on shift supervisors with checking of loads both inbound and outbound as and when issues arise
  • Communicating with the transport team to resolve any stock queries
  • Communicating with the customer service teams with any stock issues
  • Communicating with other sites for tracking of any stocks
  • Monitoring of the Inbox for stock requests by the customer
  • Produce accurate documentation for stock checks
  • Support with traceability of any stocks or unaccounted for stock including writing reports for traceability exercises
  • Supporting the teams with auditing and ensuring that BRC accreditation documentation is up to date and effective
  • Running F8 & F6 reports to understand previous 24 hours issues and to correct any stocks or system issues to ensure no further stock outs for the same pick

Management

  • Management of the Inventory Administrator to support you to achieve the correct stock levels and accuracy
  • Manage and organise the allocation of workload within your team.
  • Recruit and retain the right calibre of people. Lead, motivate and inspire the team to achieve business performance, personal development, and continuous improvement, ensuring that there is a safe working environment. Examples include the following:

  • Must be able to work as assigned in either office or warehouse environments
  • Professional in appearance
  • Diligent attention to detail and attention to safety of themselves and others around the workplace
  • Ability to multi‐task and work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with Customers and Co‐Workers
  • Highly organised, self-sufficient and able to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines
  • Flexible in approach to work and adaptable to fit into different teams and environments
  • Confident and approachable
  • Chemical and Manual Handling Trained Desirable but not essential as training will be given
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence and have own transportation to work
