Provide support to the Senior HR Advisor on HR related matters and to the managers across functions including areas of Resourcing and Recruitment, Disciplinary Investigations, Absence Management and keeping people metrics up to date.

 

Recruitment & Selection

Support managers in the recruitment and selection processes for resourcing requirements and ensuring a fair and effective process is followed to select the best candidate(s) for the business and role.

Writing offer letters and contracts of employment

Assisting with the up keep of the HR Employee database

Preparation of new starter documentation and induction material  in co-ordination with the Driver Training Manager and QSH Manager.

 

Training & Development

Ensuring all training records are up to date and scanned to HR files.

Co-ordinating and supporting the QSH Manager on all mandatory training requirements.

Printing out of relevant training materials and administration of all documentation

Supporting managers to look at training and development for their teams, including on the job training and training course based, within the business.

 

Retention

Conducting exit interviews

 

Disciplinary and Grievance

Assisting with investigations e.g. note taking

Preparation of investigation and disciplinary packs for managers.
